Personal Photo Belonging to Bobby Jones

Obtained From a Family Member

            This original 5x7 photograph depicts three generations of the Jones family - Bobby Jones, his son Robert Tyre Jones III, and grandson Robert Tyre Jones IV. This photograph belonged to Bobby Jones personally, and was obtained by Green Jacket Auctions directly from a Jones family member. Bobby Jones must have been quite fond of this photo, since with it is a copy of a 1959 USGA Journal, which bears a similar cover photo that clearly came from the same photography session. This lot includes the original Jones family photograph and the USGA Journal, both of which belonged to Bobby Jones personally.
