Original Print of Dwight Eisenhower's Famous Painting of Bobby Jones

This is certainly one of the most famous golf prints of all-time.  Amazingly, the painting which inspired this print is more famous for the person who copied the painting than the one who first painted it.  While this painting of Bobby Jones was first created by portrait painter Thomas Stevens, Stevens encouraged President Dwight D. Eisenhower to take up painting and this was one of the General's first completed works.  As reported by TIME Magazine, President Eisenhower presented the painting to Bobby Jones on Saturday, March 7, 1953 after spending 6 weeks working on the project.  The humble Eisenhower did not think much of his painting, and described his painting ability as "awkward" in that presentation ceremony.

In the 1970's, prints were made of this famous painting for the first time. This print is an original produced at that time, and is certainly the most sought-after of all modern golf prints.
