The Ryder Cup
Scarce 1930 U.S. Open
Program (Bobby Jones Grand Slam)
When Bobby
Jones won the Grand Slam in 1930, he went from being famous to legendary
overnight. Items from Bobby Jones' Major Championship victories were hard to
find 80 years ago, let alone today. Perhaps the most sought after item from
Jones' Major Championships are the actual Programs from those tournaments. Few
still exist, and even fewer are ever offered for sale. Presented here is
certainly one of the finest such programs in existence - a Program from Bobby
Jones' fabled Grand Slam in 1930. This 1930 U.S. Open Program is in great
condition, and would fit beautifully not only in any collection, but on display
at any golf museum in the world.
The rarity of the 1930 U.S. Open Program cannot be understated. Despite seeking
one out for the past 5 years, this is the first one that we have been able to
locate. Additionally, it's condition cannot be understated - it is in excellent
condition and displays beautifully. This is certainly the greatest piece of
Bobby Jones Grand Slam memorabilia that we have ever offered.
