More than 2 decades before Pebble
Beach would gain worldwide fame for hosting its first (of many) mens' U.S.
Opens, Pebble Beach was host to the 1948 U.S. Women's Amateur. The 1948 U.S.
Amateur was one of the earlier Major Championships hosted at Pebble. This
original 1948 program is in excellent condition.
