        Diehard flag collectors were abuzz with rumors about the flags in use at the 2010 Ryder Cup.  Small pin flags are relatively common occurrences on wind-whipped golf courses in England and Ireland, but are virtually unheard of in major tournaments and seldom seen by America golfers.
