1950's Probst Sterling Silver
Presentation Putter
In the
1950s, C.E. Probst Manufacturing Company made putters by casting heads out
of the precious metals gold and sterling silver. These expensive putters
were intended to be engraved and given as presentation putters. In fact,
most that can be found are engraved by the name of some club champion or
wealthy golfer. But offered here is one of the hard to find "blank slates" -
an original 1950's Probst Sterling Silver WestPoint putter that has never
been engraved. In fact, the putter is truly exceptional and is in near
perfect condition. The putter head is hand made out of sterling silver.
