Rare Near-Mint Cardinal "Giant" Head Wedge

           This is a rare near-mint example of "The Giant" , which was described on page 592 of the famous golf club book A Clubmakers Art (Volume II) by Jeffrey Ellis as "[o]ne of the most popular of all golf collectibles." This club was produced by Scottish maker Hendry & Bishop in the 1920's, which is the exact same Giant Niblick featured in A Clubmaker's Art. Only the example offered in this auction is in even better condition than the club that was part of the Jeffrey Ellis collection, which is no easy feat.
