            The presented lot consists of a golf card set so rare that we had to see it to believe it. Individual cards from this 1901 Faulkner "Golf Terms" set routinely sell for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, and complete sets are virtually unheard of. In fact, the PSA Set Registry lists just 3 known complete sets (now 4!), which is remarkable considering there are only 12 cards in this set! Likewise, the value of this set according to the SMR price guide is several thousand dollars. We highly recommend that the winning bidder immediate have these rare cards graded and encapsulated, and entered into the PSA Set Registry in order to share these gems with the rest of the collecting hobby. These cards have blank backs.
