1947 Ryder Cup Player's Money Clip

            This is a rare Ryder Cup "player's" money clip that was issued to the U.S. Team for the 1947 Ryder Cup Matches. The British Team was no match for the Ben Hogan-led U.S. squad, as the U.S. dominated with a score of 11-1 in the 7th Ryder Cup Matches. This money clip was issued to PGA President Ken Novak. The medallion is sterling silver and the Ryder Cup trophy on the medallion is believed to be gold.

            This historic money clip was previously sold in a Christies Auction in London in 2002.
