Collection of Walter Hagen Documents

From Hagen's 75th Birthday and Death

        This collection comes from the estate of Ken Janke, who was the executor of Walter Hagen's estate in 1969. Included in this lot are 3 Western Union telegrams concerning Hagen's 75th dinner party and 6 to Walter Jr. regarding Hagen's death a year later. Included in this lot are correspondence from Chick Evans, Johnny Farrell, Joe Kirkwood, etc. There is also a small hand written note by Freddie McLeod on the back of his club receipt congratualating Walter on his 75th, as well as a hand written letter by Bobby Cruickshank to Walter Jr. sending is condolences at his father's passing.
