Scarce 1938 U.S. Amateur Program

        Offered here is a program that we assumed existed, but had never actually seen - an original program from when famed Oakmont Country Club hosted the 1938 U.S. Amateur. The tournament was won by the great Willie Turnesa.

        While the 1937 U.S. Amateur Program is listed in the Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles with a value of $750, the much more valuable 1938 U.S. Amateur program has no value listed because the famous price guide instead states: NONE KNOWN.

        Well, we now know that at least one example exists! The program is in very good condition, and displays magnificently.
