U.S. Open Clubhouse Wire Photos

As you've no doubt seen by now, this Winter Golf Auction by Green Jacket Auctions represents one of the greatest sales of golf photographs in history. From Old Tom Morris & the origins of professional golf to Bobby Jones & the founding of Augusta National, many of the offered photographs are among the finest such examples in the hobby.

        In this Lot are 2 original 1937 photographs from Oakland Hills from the 1937 U.S. Open. The photos contain exceptional early images of Oakland Hills' iconic clubhouse. Oakland Hills hosted the Open for the 2nd time in 1937, and the tournament was won by Ralph Guldahl.

        Both photos measure 7" x 9 1/4" are in beautiful condition and rate a solid 9+ of 10. Reverse have paper captions and stamps from Acme and NEA.
