Gene Sarazen's 1964 Masters Tournament
Bridge Card Set
Offered here is Gene Sarazen's
personal copy of one of the most famous Masters Tournament player gifts of
all-time - the 1964 Masters Tournament "Bridge Set". While it may seem like an
odd gift, some of the key players in early Masters history were quite obsessed
with the game of bridge, including Bobby Jones, Clifford Roberts and Dwight
Eisenhower. This actual set was issued to Gene Sarazen in 1964 and features his
name embossed in gold on the cover.
Letter of Authenticity from Prominent Golf Historian and Collector Mark Emerson, who for several years has been advising and assisting the heirs of Hall of Fame golfer Gene Sarazen in the proper disposition of his private personal memorabilia and comes directly from the Sarazen estate.
