In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal
collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the
PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta
National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every
Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight
Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
Offered here is the rare original
Champion's Gold Medal trophy from Ed Dudley's victory at the 1931 Western Open.
Of Ed Dudley's 15 PGA Tour victories, the 1931 Western Open was his greatest,
and this his Dudley's actual trophy from that victory.
