        The 1929 U.S. Open was one of the Crown Jewels in the career of Bobby Jones. He would win in a playoff at Winged Foot and launch into the greatest calendar year in golf history. The image offered here is an original 1929 photograph of Winged Foot's 18th Green on the verge of the 1929 U.S. Open. Contrast and clarity are top notch while the condition is fine save a corner clip on the lower left. Reverse has a paper caption as well as stamps from Acme and NEA (Reference Dept).
