Great Augusta National Photo

of Bobby Jones and Ed Dudley 

        In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.

        This large oversized original circa 1930's photo depicts Bobby Jones and Ed Dudley ascending up the fairway of the 11th hole after hitting their tee shots during a round of golf at Augusta National.

        Oversized photos like this were very rare in the 1930's, but this must've been a cherished keepsake of Dudley.
