Gene Sarazen's Signed Wilson Driver
from Masters Opening Tee Shot
Offered here
is a truly rare opportunity to obtain a piece of Masters Tournament history.
This is Gene Sarazen's personal driver used to strike the the opening tee shot
to open the Masters Tournament as one of the Official Starters in the mid
1990's. The club itself is a Wilson 10.5* titanium Staff model with the numbers
29cm2AHA Oversize. It has a Firestick ultra light shaft and custom built up grip
by Golf Pride. After splitting the fairway, this club was retired from play and
Gene signed the top of the club head with a perfect silver signature.
Letter of Authenticity from Prominent Golf Historian and Collector Mark Emerson, who for several years has been advising and assisting the heirs of Hall of Fame golfer Gene Sarazen in the proper disposition of his private personal memorabilia and comes directly from the Sarazen estate.
