Ed Dudley's

1940 U.S. Open Contestants Badge

In this auction, we have the extreme privilege of offering the personal collection of the late Ed Dudley. In addition to being a 15 time winner on the PGA Tour, Dudley is probably best known for being the 1st Head Pro at Augusta National. Not only was he Head Pro at Augusta, Dudley also competed in every Masters Tournament from 1934 to 1950. Dudley was also the golf coach for Dwight Eisenhower, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.

Presented here is Ed Dudley's actual 1940 U.S. Open contestant's badge, from when Dudley finished tied for 10th at Canterbury Golf Club in Ohio. Amazingly, this 74 year old contestant's badge is in near mint condition.
