Actual 1940's Horton Smith

Tournament-Used Scorecard

We all know that Horton Smith receives almost a mythical status among golf collectors, and the scarcity of Horton Smith memorabilia certainly adds to that fact.

Offered here is the truly rare chance to obtain an actual tournament-used and signed scorecard of the great Horton Smith. Of all the memorabilia we've ever offered, this is the first and only used scorecard we've ever offered from the inaugural Masters Tournament Champion. This original scorecard dates to approximately the late 1940's when Horton Smith participated in a charity match during World War II along with PGA Tour star Jimmy Thomson, who also signed this scorecard. Amazingly, not only are we auctioning Horton Smith's actual scorecard from this war time golf tournament, but included is the original owner's original ticket from the event (with Horton Smith notes on back), as well as an original postcard from the host course, Northland Country Club.
