This is a circa late 1880’s or early 1890’s left handed George Forrester semi
long nose splice neck putter with G. FORRESTER in block letters on the wood
head. Replaced shaft and suede leather grip. The putter is in very good
condition.
George Forrester was acknowledged by
his contemporaries as one of the most innovative club designers of his time, he
patented many types of wood and iron clubs.
