Denny Shute's 1949 Masters

Players Gift Medallion

        This medallion was a player gift at one of the most famous golf tournaments in history - the 1949 Masters Tournament. The 1949 Masters is among the most storied in modern history, as Sam Snead was awarded the first ever Green Jacket in 1949.

        This is an actual Masters Tournament player gift from 1949 that was presented to 3-time Major Champion Denny Shute. This medallion measures 1 5/16" diameter. In raised letters it reads "Masters Tournament 1949" and it has been engraved "Denny Shute".
