1930 Wire Photo Bobby Jones Practices Putting

at Merion for the 1930 U.S. Amateur

       Bobby Jones famously completed the Grand Slam at Merion Golf Club at the 1930 U.S. Amateur. As you can see by this photograph, the crowds even showed up at Merion during the practice rounds to see Bobby Jones as he was about to embark of his quest to win the fourth Major Championship of the year. This original 1930 photograph measures 8x10" and is excellent condition.
