What a gem!
This is an impossibly rare poster for the 1929 Pasadena $4000 Open golf
tournament. The head pro at Pasadena Country Club in Florida was Walter
Hagen, so it comes as no shock that this event was impressively attended by
the best professional golfers of the day. This original 1929 poster from the
tournament has been autographed by an astounding 110 golfers. This poster
was almost certainly on display at the Pasadena clubhouse - and most likely
next to the player registration - and that's the only scenario we can think
of which would result in the entire field's autographs.
