Victorian Era Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle

      Great Turn of the century wooden jigsaw puzzle depicting a humorous scene in which an older gentleman finds himself "stymied". This appears to be the art work of British painter Lionel Edwards. The pieces are aprox. 3/16"-1/4" thick and number around 250-300. Older wooden puzzles like this are very rare in that these loose fitting pieces often were lost through the years. This puzzle has been housed in a nice picture frame keeping everything in place. The puzzle measures 13-3/4" x 9 3/4" with a frame size of 17-1/2" x 12-1/4".
