      Presented here is a rare 1927 1st Edition of what many consider the finest golf course architecture book ever written: Golf Architecture In America: Its Strategy And Construction by George C. Thomas. The book is 342 pages on coated paper, with 149 photographs and drawings, some in color, as well as endpapers depicting famed Pine Valley. Additionally, there is one fold-out plate to rear showing layout of an 18 hole course of one-shot holes. Original dark blue cloth, green title to spine and front, with an eagle carrying golf clubs against a red shield.
This book is in Very Good condition.
