Condition: Very good overall condition, with a tight binding and very little wear

Notes: A classic book; one of the most important golf course architects in history with Augusta National and Cypress Point anchoring his all star resume. This book should be the cornerstone to any golf architecture library. The book was inscribed by Alister MacKenzie himself in November 1920, though MacKenzie does not actually sign his name. He simply refers to himself at the “author”. Gilchrist’s Guide to Golf Collectibles lists the value at $1,250, which, of course, does not include the value of MacKenzie's inscription and the fact that this book has been trading much higher in recent years.
