Most golf collectors are aware of the Stubben crystal given to as awards for various achievements at the Masters Tournament – dubbed “Masters Crystal” by collectors. There are 4 such awards, the most basic being a pair crystal glasses/goblets for recording an eagle during the Masters. The other awards are for Double Eagle (only happened 4 times), Hole-In-One and Day’s Low Score for shooting the lowest round of each day of the tournament.
This amazing Day’s Low Score “Masters Crystal” comes from fan favorite and World Golf Hall of Famer Fred Couples. Couples received this for having the lowest round on April 9, 1998 – when Fred Couples shot a first round 69 to take a one stroke lead after day 1 at the 1998 Masters Tournament. This piece of Masters Crystal stands 8 1/4" tall.
