Peter Oosterhuis'
1981 Canadian Open Gold Medal
The Canadian National Open holds a long and illustrious history, dating to the first championship contested in 1904 and listing among it’s champions, hall of famers including Snead, Nelson, Trevino, Woods, etc. It was also host to the historic 11th and final victory of Byron Nelson’s improbably winning streak.
The Champion in 1981 was Peter Oosterhuis and here we have the actual 10K Gold Winners Medal that was awarded to Peter that year. It was the lone American PGA Tour victory of his great career.
