1995 PGA Championship Flag
Signed by Colin Montgomerie
Prior to winning three Champions Tour Major Championships in the last 14 months, the consensus for years was that Colin Montgomerie was the best golfer on the planet to never have won a major. Montgomerie came close on a multitude of occasions, including five 2nd place finishes in majors. One of those 2nd place finishes was at the 1995 PGA Championship at Riviera, where Montgomerie lost in a playoff to Steve Elkington.
Most people don’t even realize that a souvenir flag from that 1995 PGA Championship existed, mainly because it was made in such small quantities and so seldom seen. Presented here is one of those scarce flags and it has been autographed by runner up Colin Montgomerie.
