Critical of Arnold Palmer

Offered here is a handwritten 1979 letter from Gene Sarazen to a friend. The letter contains some fantastic golf content - with references to the Masters Tournament, Memorial Tournament, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer. 

But it's Sarazen's comments about the popular Arnold Palmer that stand out. While describing the decline of golf in 1979, Gene Sarazen states about Arnold Palmer: "Look at Palmer, shoots two good rounds and then he starts to warm up his jet..." .
