In 1987, the European Ryder Cup Team shocked the world by winning the Ryder Cup. Offered here is a gift given by the winning European Team to their Captain Tony Jacklin to commemorate the achievement. This sterling silver picture frame holds an 8x10" photograph of the 1987 European Team with Captain Tony Jacklin hoisting the Ryder Cup trophy. The top of the frame is engraved "Muirfield Village 1987" and "Europe 15, United States 13", and the bottom is engraved "To Tony and Viv, to mark our historic win." There is a small Ryder Cup emblem that appears to have gone missing from the top of this frame, which is otherwise in very good condition. The edges of the frame are engraved with facsimile signatures of the victorious European Team. Measures 9 1/4" x 13".
