1900 Aberdeen Ladies Golf Club
Tournament Award Pin
Any golf tournament award or trophy dating to the turn of the century is one that is highly collectible. Here we have no exception, a highly impressive Pin featuring crossed clubs, golf balls and a ribbon with the clubs initials “ALGC” or “Aberdeen Ladies Golf Club”.
The Pin comes in a beautiful box with an engraved plate showing the past winners of this award. It is labeled Mrs. McClymont's Prize from 1893 through 1900, with that winner's engraving stating "1900 Finally Won by Mrs. A.J.W. Storie”. Simply an amazing and extremely early piece of women's golf memorabilia from a very famous Scottish Links adjacent to Royal Aberdeen Golf Club.
