Masters Tournament Major Achievement Award
Presented to Furman Bisher
Furman Bisher was a longstanding sports writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and covered the Masters Tournament for decades, holding seniority until age 90 over the hundreds of golf reporters and other sports journalists that descended upon Augusta.
This is a unique item that we’ve never seen before … a “Masters Major Achievement Award” … presented Furman Bisher by Augusta National at the 2007 Masters Tournament. The award is in the form of a book, which contains 24 photographs at a dinner honoring Bisher. It is housed in an amazing Masters green leather covered album with satin lining and wonderful gold lettering and accents.
