What an impressive original handwritten letter on Harry Vardon's personal letterhead. This letter comes from the height of Harry Vardon's career. In fact, Vardon's letterhead declares Vardon as a 4-time Open Champion - 1896, 1898, 1899 and 1903. We not know that Vardon wasn't done yet, as he would go on to win the Open Championship for a 5th and 6th time in 1911 and 1914.
The letter measures 8" x 8". It has been professionally framed to 19" x 14 1/2".
