1928 Putt-Well Indoor/Outdoor Putting Game

Rare vintage putting game from The Putt-Well Golf Corp, Portsmouth, Va., Patented in 1928-1929 by inventor Hyman B. Lasting.  Very nice condition, professionally restored about 25 years ago.  This game is 11 ½ feet long and will provide hours of fun for both young and old, golfers and non-golfers.  The nine numbered holes each have removable metal flags that rotate when a putt is holed, the ball then travels in troughs on the underside awaiting release.  There is a lever next to the Mfg. Name plate and when it is lowered, the metal flags all rotate back and the balls are released to play again.  You do not have to sink all nine putts to start over again. No coins are needed.  Putts that are too strong or too far left or right enter the “TRAP” and also return via the trough system on the underside.  The 1.62 golf balls work better and rarely get hung up.  Included with the Putt-Well are a mixed dozen unused 1.62 golf balls that are wrapped or in boxes.  It is believed less than a handful of these have survived, and most are not in very good condition.  A great addition to a man-cave, golf shop, bar or clubhouse for just the guys or of course for couples.  There is a bit of an incline, and some putts have some break, so, it can be a good test, even for a good putter.

Putting game is located outside Chicago.  It can be picked up with a few days notice, or shipping can be arranged to most Continental U. S. areas for about $650.00.  Please inquire further if you are in a remote location or on the West Coast.
