Circa 1910s Handel Humidor
Early Handel
golf pieces are very difficult to unearth, and this Handel Jar/Humidor, which
was crafted circa 1910s, is certainly no exception. The delicate piece is constructed of milk
glass, with a copper lid. It features transfer
decorations with backgrounds that are hand-painted and is marked ‘HANDEL’ on
the base, which is clearly readable.
Minor surface
wear does exist with some roughness to the top and the bottom edges however,
there are no chips, cracks or repairs.
The rare Humidor measures 6” in height and 5” in diameter.
