Circa 1898 Lenox 3 Handled Cup

This is an circa 1898 Lenox cup with 3 handles and an ornate sterling silver rim.Hand painted in the well-known Lenox green and white, on one side this piece depicts a gentleman golfer in a short brim hat, long sleeve shirt, and high button shoes. Also depicted is a lady golfer in straw hat, long sleeve blouse, and calf length skirt addressing the ball. The 3rd image is a clubhouse and tree lined fairway. This rare 3 handled cup was manufactured in Trenton, New Jersey by the Ceramic Art Co. Stamped on the bottom is the green CAC mark in a wreath, circa 1898. The cup is 3 7/8" tall. There are a couple small dents in the silver rim; otherwise in Very Good condition.
