JH Taylor Photographic Portrait
This is an original publicity photograph of five-time Open Champion JH Taylor. The reverse contains a printed list of Taylor's most notable victories. This 5" x 7" photograph was purchased directly from the Taylor family. The reverse also has a pencil inscription which reads "Fathers favourite portrait, P Plumtree." This notation was by Taylor's daughter - therefore suggesting that this photo was a personal favorite of JH Taylor himself.
