Bobby Jones was one of the most famous people in America during his Grand Slam year of 1930. Offered here is a rare postcard where a hotel (Shenvalee Hotel in Virginia) used a photo of Jones to promote itself, even though Bobby Jones likely only played their course once at an earlier date. And with Bobby Jones still an amateur, you can be almost certain that this was an unauthorized use of Jones' image for which Bobby wasn't paid a dime!
