Lot Description  


Official contestant's badge from the 1940 US Open, which was won by the great Lawson Little in a playoff over Gene Sarazen. The 1940 Open was Lawson Little's 5th Major Championship title (2x US Amateur, 2x British Amateur). This badge was issued to one of the 161 golfers who competed in the 1940 US Open. The badge is in exceptional condition.
