Lot Description  


Offered here is perhaps the only known contestant's badge from the 1915 US Amateur at the Country Club of Detroit, which was won by Chicago's Robert Gardner. The contestant badge chapter in the 2004 "Gilchrist's Guide to Golf Collectibles", written by noted badge collector Mark Emerson, lists this badge as "NONE KNOWN".

This 1915 contestant's badge is in Good condition. Minor pin damage on back.
