For this auction, we found an impressive cache of rare Bobby Jones photographs. During a consignment run up the East Coast, tucked away in a basement in Atlanta, were some Bobby Jones photographs that we've never seen before.

This is an exceptional original photograph of Bobby Jones from the 1930 US Amateur at Merion - when he completed the Grand Slam. This seldom seen photograph of Jones comes from after the first round of 1930 US Amateur qualifying (yes, in 1930, even Bobby Jones had to qualify over 36 holes despite the fact that he had won 3 Major Championships in a row and was a prior winner of 4 US Amateurs). Photo measures 6" x 8", and contains original wire service tag on back.
