Lot Description  

This 1917 press photo of a teenage Bobby Jones striking a swing pose. We are able to date this image to the 1917 Red Cross matches due to Jones wearing a black ribbon. This 6 1/2" x 8 1/4" photograph is stamped on the reverse by the photographer Kadel & Herbert - a popular New York photographer in the 1910s and 1920s. One of the more desirable Bobby Jones photographs we've ever encountered.
