Lot Description  

Edwin Winkworth Scott patent square steel shaft putter.  Circa 1913.  Stamped EH Winkworth Scott/Reg. No. 612553/Lilywhite Frauds/London. Wide rounded topline fuses to square hosel to square shaft to square grip.  Brilliantly conceived one of the 1st steel putters made. Rare patent club. A similar club was sold in the Jeff Ellis Sotheby’s Auction in 2007 for $875.
