This is a very rare original set of 1961/62 PING 69 Golf Clubs with the original bent shafts never replaced. These were the very first irons produced by PING founder Karsten Solheim. They are also one of only 3 forged designed clubs (PING 69s, then PING 68s, then PING Ansers) that Solheim made before going to investment cast clubs. The set comprises of 3 through Pitching Wedge. This is an incredible find for the ultimate PING Collector, as less than 100 sets were made. Few of those original sets also include the bent shafts, as PING offered to replace the shafts for free of charge once the USGA banned the original shafts. These rare Ping irons are in very good condition. A set of PING 69s once sold for upwards of $20,000.
