One U.S. Open Champion signed flag that is missing from most collections is that of Sam Parks Jr., the 1935 Winner at Oakmont. The 25-year old champion won that year’s Open while being the only player in the field to negotiate the 72 holes in under 300 strokes.

Presented here is an undated U.S. Open flag that was signed by Parks prior to his death during Masters Week in 1997. This is a single-signed Major Champion golf flag that surely everyone is missing from their collection.
