The Royal Bank of Scotland issued a limited number of £5 notes with the Golden Bear's image impressively upon them. The Royal Bank of Scotland has been open since 1727, and Jack Nicklaus was the first living person to ever appear on a Scottish note besides Her Majesty the Queen and the late Queen Mother.
