Presented here is an almost certainly unique piece of early 20th century pottery. This circa early 1900s lidded sugar bowl by Maddock & Sons depicts characters that bear the names of early members/board members of famed Baltusrol Golf Club. This sugar bowl was made in England, contains the quote "The Old Gaurd in Action on the Fields of Baltusrol." It appears to poke fun at the early Baltusrol members, who are identified as follows: Deacon, Mat, A.C., Jimmy, JJM, CCT, and USO. Stands 5" tall and is in excellent condition.
