Offered here is an original ticket from the most dominant victory from Harry Vardon's 1900 American Tour.

In 1900, Harry Vardon embarked on his historic tour of America. The "Vardon Invasion" essentially helped teach much of America about the game of golf. During that famous tour, Vardon participated in 80 exhibition matches - often against the best golfer in the region. It is no surprise that Vardon won 70 of these matches. At times, the golfers who competed against Vardon were not quite up to Vardon's standards (he was clearly the best in the world at the time).

On August 1, 1900 at Eagle's Nest Country Club, Blue Mt. Lake, NY., Harry Vardon played against St. Andrew's Golf Club (NY) member George Armstrong. Vardon won 22 up!

This scarce ticket is 2 1/4" in diameter. The ticket has a crease across the middle.
