Presented here is an original sign from one of the most famous golf courses in the world, Carnoustie Golf Links. This Carnoustie sign warns the golfer "Please do not play until the 17th Tee is clear." We believe that this sign resided on Carnoustie's most famous hole - the 245 yard Par 3 16th. Carnoustie's 17th tee resides directly behind the 16th green, which most golfers attack with either a 3 wood or driver - hence the necessity of a warning sign!
